Product Type:

Cream Tea Hampers are available for delivery Tuesday to Saturday. Cream teas can't be delivered on a Monday (to avoid cream and scones travelling over the weekend).

Ambient Mixed Food Hampers are available for delivery Monday to Saturday.

Delivery Date:

Choose preferred date at checkout. If your order is for a birthday or other special occasion, we recommend choosing delivery for the day before. Sometimes if products are unavailable we will swap them for the nearest equivalent product that we have in stock. Cream and scones are best eaten within 3-4 days from dispatch.

Chilled products

Cream is placed in an insulated package along with an ice pack to keep it cool. The hamper is then posted by DHL (next day service). The cream is provided to us already blast frozen by Roddas and remains frozen until the day of dispatch. During transit the cream thaws and should be placed in the fridge as soon as the package arrives. It is therefore very important that the recipient is available to receive the delivery. If the recipient is out, the driver will use their own judgement as to what to do with the parcel. We cannot be held responsible for the delivery of the parcel should it be left with a neighbour or in a safe place.

Please note that deliveries can be made any any time during DHL's standard working hours. Cream and scones have a shelf-life of 3-4 days from dispatch.

Dispatch

You need to order before 11am (9am during our really busy times) for the parcel to be dispatched on the same day.
Chilled items aren't dispatched on a Friday (or Thursday when Friday is a bank holiday) to avoid weekend lock ups for fresh products.

Ordering for future delivery

You can choose a delivery date during checkout. This date isn't guaranteed but is used by us to control the dispatch date. If your order is for a birthday or other special occasion, we recommend choosing the delivery date as the day before.

Transit times

DHL next day delivery has a 96% next day success rate but sometimes there can be unforeseen delays. If the hamper is left travelling for any longer than 2 days we can send out fresh cream and scones at our expense. We cannot be held responsible for parcels not delivered or collected due to incorrect delivery information being provided, if the recipient is out or away, or in the unlikely event your parcel is delayed through no fault of our own.

Where do we deliver to?

Hampers not containing scones or cream can be delivered to anywhere in the UK.
We cannot deliver scones and cream to the following postcodes as the travel time is often too long: (GY1 Herm only (Channel Islands), GY9 Sark (Channel Islands), HS2 Lewis, PA61 Colonsay, PA62-75 Mull, PA78 Coll, ZE2-3 Shetlands, KW16-17 Orkney, PH30 Corrour, PH41 Mallaig, PH42 Eigg & Muck, PH43-44 Rhum & Canna)

Packaging

All hampers are gift wrapped by hand and placed in a secure outer box.
